Mondo just put out a study of b-to-b and b-to-c companies called "The Future of Digital Marketing." According to the study, 80% of companies will increase their digital marketing budgets in the next year, but the study highlights talent as a critical area of growth this time around.
Top skill sets include:
- Digital/social (54%)
- Content creation (44%)
- Big data/analytics (33%)
- Mobile strategy (30%)
This study also highlighted the high demand for video marketing talent. We recently dedicated a full-time video marketing resource to my digital team, so I know this is important.
